"Photographs are abstractions shaped by technology" I heard this and decided to use a film camera for my photobook and, once printed, put the photos back into the camera. This way they are going back in time in one sense, back in time by one generation- when disposable cameras where most popular. thus the photos are abstracted from today back in time through technology.

I like how these images turned out as some of them are more thought through Eg the portrait of his friend, whilst some have more of a snapshot aesthetic. Even though on some of them his finger is over the lens, I still think these are successful as the portrait of him has a large 'finger blur' over it but it leads through to
